EasiLink for Space Saver Hydronic plinth heaters
- Space Saver hydronic plinth heaters now come as standard with an EasiLink connector allowing easier installation
- Additionally, when combined with an EasiLink controller the Space Saver plinth heater can be upgraded by enabling local control of the Space Saver
- The EasiLink allows separate temperature and programmable time control (depending on which controller is fitted) of the Space Saver plinth heater. The central heating system needs to be running to provide heat to the Space Saver
Choice of controller
The EasiLink kit is supplied with a choice of two controllers. Both controllers work in tandem with the central heating system and provide local thermostatic control which is independent of the central heating thermostat:
- SLVTB A simple manual controller with on/off and temperature adjustment. The unit is battery powered and wall-mounted for easy installation into a standard sized electrical back box
- HHPS01 A battery powered, wireless hand-held controller that can be used in manual mode or can be independently programmable

- Choice of either an SLVTB or HHPS01 controller

Please note that the EasiLink controllers can only work with the new updated Space Saver hydronic plinth heaters which include the
EasiLink connector
Installation
Installation of the EasiLink to a pre-installed Space Saver, is a simple procedure which does not require a qualified electrician.
- Switch off the Space Saver at the electrical isolator, undo the two screws on the front grille securing the unit to the plinth and draw it
out of the recess - Remove the power plug from the left side and plug it into the receiver unit, then plug the receiver output lead into the socket on the side of the Space Saver
- Relocate the Space Saver under the kitchen cabinet and secure the Space Saver to the plinth with the two screws on the grille
- Then pair the new controller to the receiver following the instructions
Future proofing Space Saver
As all Space Saver hydronic plinth heaters now come with the EasiLink connector as standard an EasiLink controller can be added at a later date upgrading the system to allow more independent control for the heating.
