Smith’s appoint Neil Coulton to the position of Compliance Manager

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Coulton to the role of Compliance Manager. Neil brings a wealth of experience gained in several industries. Over the past 15 years Neil established a business in the remanufacturing industry and became a spokesperson and speaker for UK industry on global stages, delivering best practices and sustainability. He has significant experience in working with ISO standards. Neil’s role will ensure continuity of the high-quality standards of Smith’s products and to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management. He will also drive the established environmental performance of Smith’s to continually improve maintaining certification of ISO 14001 Environmental Management. He will manage and drive the project towards the successful achievement of certification of ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management, certification to ISO50001 Energy management, and ISO 27001 Information Security Management. Neil will also manage the health and safety of Smith’s employees.

Outside work Neil enjoys sport, playing rugby for 2 teams and is part of a touring team that promotes development of club rugby in European countries not normally associated with the rugby. He has also coached trampolining, athletics and netball. He likes to play his part in his local community having been involved in Scouts and has sat on several Council committees.
