29th JUNE 2020

We are delighted to announce that from the 1st July 2020 our employed salesteam will return from furlough. They join our sales agents and our internal teams who have been working throughout the COVID 19 lockdown to ensure we were able to provide our customers with the level of support they expect of Smith’s.

Over the past few weeks, we have experienced a significant increase in the number of enquiries and orders for our products. Being a UK manufacturer, we have been able to fulfil these orders, often at very short notice, to ensure that our customers can fulfil their commitments to their customers. We will also be reducing the number of production staff on furlough with a phased return starting in July to further restore our manufacturing capacity as demand for our products increases.

We have implemented new working guidelines in line with Government advice to maintain the safety of our staff and customers. We will continue to monitor the advice from the Government and healthcare experts to ensure their continued safety.

The contact details of our salesteam and agents are available on the website at

13th APRIL 2020

As the impact of COVID-19 continues to have a dramatic impact on the way we live and work we have taken further steps to protect our teams, customers and our business and ensure as much continuity as we can in the coming weeks and months.

We are still open for business and our factory is still manufacturing our range of fan convectors. We have a limited number of staff working in our factory to fulfil customers’ orders.

From the 13th April 2020 our Smith’s employed sales teams are now on furlough, but our agents are working from home and are still available to give advice and help our customers.

Our technical support and sales office teams are still working to ensure we can provide our customers with the ongoing support they require. Please use the usual contact details to access them.

We will continue to review and monitor in line with Government advice and update you as to any operational changes being undertaken by ourselves as the situation develops.

Please feel free to contact Smith’s with any questions you may have
